Recently, this blog has had several articles on the aging population, and how that’s impacting family relationships, caregivers, and the status of the elderly. Yesterday, the Family Caregiver Platform Project launched a nationwide campaign a nonpartisan project to reach out to people at the grassroots level. They’ve launched a new website (caregivercorps.org) to coordinate the political side of this movement. It focuses on getting policy makers on both sides of the aisle, and at both the national and state level, to make sure that family caregiver support isn’t left out of the discussion.
