Melanoma Cells May Require Different Therapy Depending On Age

ScienceDaily has the results of a recent study that The Wistar Institute published. The report covers the changes in melanoma cells depending on the patient’s age. Of particular note is that, certain skin cells (dermal fibroblasts) that help skin recover from injury, can aid in melanoma-cell growth. The study also suggest that anti-oxidant treatment in older patients may have greater impact over other treatments.
