For reasons that surpass explanation, I was reading some Australian news today, and an article came up that the Music and Memory program, “already widespread in the U.S. and Canada,” was coming to Australia. Since I hadn’t heard of the program, I thought I’d take a look. It turns out, it’s a little more commercial than I’d like. Nevertheless, the power of music, and it’s association with memory is undeniable. So, it may be worth checking out the program yourself, particularly if you have elderly relatives in a nursing home.
